Last week, Martin spoke at the Smart and Healthy Municipal Transport Conference in Pilsen, Czech Republic.
Martin spoke about three W projects, which implemented bicycle lanes and better pedestrian environments on streets in New York city, Mexico and Dubai. He also made the case for a more open and collaborative transportation planning process that balances a top-down/bottom-up approach, which he believes is essential for positive growth in cities.
