Large illuminated rabbit sculptures made by Amanda Parer will be unveiled at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park today! The bunnies are invasive pests in Parer's native Australia. Invasive species have also had and continue to have an impact at Pyramid Hill. According to the World Conservation Union, invasive species are the second most significant threat to biodiversity after habitat loss. W Architecture & Landscape Architecture will also be unveiling an exhibit in the gallery on invasive species to help visitors understand how human actions have contributed to ecosystem changes and what we can do to be more mindful in our actions.
