We have a new plaza in Manhattan under construction – this is an entry plaza for the Berkley Park residential building in Kips Bay, Manhattan, on East 29th Street in between 1st and 2nd Avenues. The new plaza will include a garden with native plantings, a bioswale, vine trellises, and modern seating and lighting. The design will greatly increase permeability from the previous plaza and provide a green oasis for the residents. Construction should be done in the spring, stay tuned for more progress photos!
