W is working with Phipps House, Douglaston Development, and Dattner Architects on Madison Bridge Landing, a multi-parcel project that will feature 483 units of affordable housing and a shoreline public walkway to the Harlem River waterfront.
On November 10, the team met with Community Board 1 to unveil a design. Two sites that are currently an old auto auction business and former padded wagon truck lot will be combined, and the intention is to make East 138th Street functional and active again.
