On June 9th, 100+ people attended a River Learning Center community meeting at the Watergate Marina in St. Paul, MN. W is working with the Great River Passage Conservancy and the City of St. Paul on the learning center’s schematic design. At the community meeting, design concepts and a list of guiding design principles were presented outside under tents and lively conversations were encouraged.

We also gave a presentation to the community to explain the concepts, overview, programming, and the look and fell of the project. That presentation recording is here and the presentation slides are online here. In July, we will present a single concept design, and in the fall there will be a celebration along with a reveal of the schematic design.
