LAF Publishes Case Study on St. Pete Pier Approach
The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) has published a Case Study on St. Pete Pier Approach and St. Pete Pier under LAF’s Landscape Performance Series. St. Pete Pier Approach and St. Pete Pier were studied together as part of LAF’s Case Study Initiative (CSI), a program intended to study the impact of landscape architectural projects through a unique collaboration among faculty researchers, designers, and students. The case study was led by Yi Luo, Assistant Professor at the University of Florida.
St Pete Pier Approach, designed by W, and St. Pete Pier, designed by Ken Smith Workshop, create a new extension and destination along the St. Petersburg, FL, waterfront. The St. Pete Pier, encompassing both projects, won a 2022 ULI Global Award for Excellence.
