West Harlem Piers Park is featured in New York Magazine's Summer Issue as part of “New York's River Playground” (the photo by Suzy Allman on the story's opening spread is of several kayakers enjoying the water at the park's kayak launch). The article goes on to say of West Harlem Piers Park:
“Where there once was a parking lot, now there's free kayaking, ample tanning areas, and sprinklers for the kids.”
A total of 41 parks and landmarks along Manhattan's 32-mile-long shore are highlighted in the article, including beaches, cafes, piers, woods, and … scuba diving.
We're looking forward to enjoying the New York's outdoor amenities this summer, we hope you will join us!
