We visited Plattsburgh, NY last week to commence starting work on a master plan for the city with HR&A Advisors. The master plan was commissioned as part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative. We will be meeting with the local planning committee and stakeholders to prepare for public outreach events that will engage the community in the planning process. Our work in Plattsburgh will include putting together a downtown profile and assessment, and then preparing a clearly articulated, ambitious yet realistic vision, action plan, and implementation strategy for revitalizing the downtown.
